The labor laws in Mozambique reflect its past legacy as a colony and socialist state.
Since the multiparty elections in 1994 and the development of the new constitution, changes have been made to afford greater rights to workers.

Local Content is the portion of local production factors which were used in producing goods or providing services, as well as the participation of Mozambican citizens in the share capital of companies.
